Laura and Dan’s sweet and spicy wedding (with the best ring bearer shoe throw!)

We've known Laura for a few years because she was the roommate of a mutual friend, and each time we spent time with her we left feeling seen, appreciated, and achy all over from laughing so much. Laura's the best type of spunk, and her infectious joy can’t be escaped. We love her!

So you can imagine we had high expectation for whoever got to marry this girl. Well, Dan did not disappoint! The first time we met him, we agreed we didn’t want him to leave. He matched Laura’s energy in the best way, and they felt so in sync. Just like Laura, he made us feel seen, appreciated, and achy all over from laughing so much. Obviously, they’re perfect together!

So if their wedding was going to reflect them, it would need to be a mixture of sweet and spicy—and boy was it!

First, the sweet: 1) they got married at the gorgeous Green Gates at Flowing Lake, and they made good use of the ceremony view overlooking the water 2) Laura and Dan wrote personalized notes for every single guest (including us!), and it awaited each person at their place setting 3) They handmade ice cream sandwiches for everyone’s dessert. They LOVE the people in their lives, and they made sure to make that known. So, so sweet.

As for the spicy: 1) They didn’t take themselves too seriously throughout the day. They were thrilled to be together and ready to enjoy every moment! 2) They laughed just as hard as everyone else when one of their ring bearers angrily chucked his shoe down the aisle when it accidentally came off 3) Laura was SO ready when Dan jumped on her back mid-first dance and spun him around 4) Their signature laughs weren't contained throughout the day, and we couldn’t help but make them known in their film. We laughed, they laughed, everyone laughed. It was SUCH a fun day!

Laura and Dan, we feel honored you let us spend the day with you. We loved laughing with you, making you kiss sooooo much, and stuffing our faces with the best ice cream sandwiches we’ve ever had. Enjoy reliving your day!
