Jessica and Ryan’s Scottsdale Wedding at the McCormick
I think we fell in love with Jessica and Ryan just as quickly as they fell in love with each other! As soon as their sweet faces came up on the FaceTime screen from Arizona, we knew we wanted to be a part of their big day. And once we found out they got engaged in the exact place I (Heather) told (JJ) I loved him for the very first time, it felt like we were meant to be!
Jessica and Ryan invited us to sunny Scottsdale, Ariz. to film their wedding, and it truly was an honor to be a part of it; not just because they created a gorgeous environment for their guests at The McCormick Scottsdale, but because they invited us into a space that was electric with anticipation. Anticipation for seeing each other for the first time as Jessica walked down the aisle; anticipation of spending the day with the people they love most; and more than anything, anticipation of finally becoming husband and wife. There is no doubt that each and every person in attendance was joyfully anticipating the moment the officiant said, "You may kiss your bride!"
Ryan's best man said to Jessica at the reception: "Ryan has been saving this role [of husband] for you for such a long time." Every couple has a special journey--both as individuals and together--that leads them to the moment they say, "I do." Ryan and Jessica were no different. The joyful expectation Ryan and Jessica patiently (and I'm sure at times not-so-patiently!) rested in as they waited to start their life together is something we admire so deeply about them. For them, the goal was not simply to be married, but to be married to the right person. We're confident in saying they met this goal in abundance.
We want to thank Ryan and Jessica for sharing their hearts so openly with us throughout the day. Their willingness to read their love letters aloud for us, to let us into intimate moments with family and friends, and even the trust they put in us to keep a big surprise secret for their guests (fireworks guys!!) was incredibly instrumental in allowing us to create a wedding film that beautifully and authentically captures them. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Goble!
