Gorgeous LDS wedding with Sydne and Rockie

Sydne and Rockie took us on a grand adventure for their wedding, and we couldn't have had more fun! The day before their wedding, we snuck off to Sydne's family beach house on the Kitsap Peninsula where the soon-to-be newlyweds had an epic First Look. With no time restrictions, we got to capture their loving, playful connection as they anticipated what the next day would bring. When their wedding day finally arrived, you could tell all the nerves were gone and they just wanted to get married! It was incredibly moving to watch their friends and family surround them as they came out of the Seattle LDS Temple as husband and wife! Their joy radiated as they stepped out and the excited greeting that welcomed them is something we're so grateful to have been a part of.

There are so many fun, romantic and stand-out moments from their day that it's hard to write about them all; still, we wanted to share a few that will always make us laugh or smile:

1. Watching the cardboard cutout of Sydne's brother make it's way around the family portrait session, dance floor, and sparkler exit. He couldn't be at the wedding because he's on his church mission, but they wanted to make sure he was there in spirit. This life-size cutout made us laugh every time we saw it, especially during the editing process!

2. Sydne's gift to Rockie. Sydne recorded a CD for Rockie that she shared with him after the ceremony. We didn't get to hear all of it, but from his face and constant gushing, we knew that a) the girl can sing and b) he'll always treasure this one-of-a-kind gift.

3. Wehave a feeling music is going to run in their new family! Rockie surprised Sydne with a song during the reception, and with just a guitar and mic he serenaded his new bride. How can we not love that?!

4. We're pretty sure the sun came out just to play with Sydne and Rockie on their wedding day, because we can't get over how perfectly it shined its light for them all day! Let's just say, there'sa reason The Golf Club at Newcastle is voted best sunset reception site year after year! Just see for yourself :)

We can't wait to share their incredible film with you. It's filled with so much heart and beauty, and our hope is that it brings joy and encouragement throughout their marriage. Sydne and Rockie, thank you for letting us be a part of your day. it was such an honor! Enjoy!
