Two-day wedding fusing Nepalese, Vietnamese and American traditions

Day One | Nepalese sherpa ceremony and Vietnamese tea ceremony

We were not prepared for the amount of beauty and emotion that would take place during the first day of Mingma and James' wedding weekend. The day started with both families meeting each other for a Vietnamese tea ceremony and ended with an emotion filled Sherpa ceremony in honor of Mingma’s family. It was truly beautiful to witness the amount of joy that came from both sides of these families <3

Day Two | Traditional American wedding at Lord Hill Farms (plus a killer dance party!)

Day two of this emotion-filled weekend took us to Lord Hill Farms out in Snohomish, a gorgeous manor-like farm with a walkable garden that’ll make your jaw drop.

James and Mingma continued stealing sweet looks and endless giggles, culminating in the sweetest exchange of letters and vows. Hearing your favorite person tell you how much they love and adore you is one of our favorite parts of creating weddings films—it gives us chills every time, and James and Mingma’s letters and vows were no exception. Add to that the kindest, most sincere speeches given by James’ mom, brother, and friends and Mingma’s sister and bridesmaid meant everyone laughed, cried, and smiled their way through their fun (so fun!) reception. And one of our favorite parts (that we beg you not to miss!)? Mingma’s stellar choreographed dance she did for James — this girl can dance!

Thank you again, James and Mingma, for letting us be there. For letting us capture these precious moments for you. For letting us laugh and cry and smile along with all of your guests. You two are the best!
